Moonlight on the Oregon Coast
Partially cloudy conditions with 25-full moon are some of my favorite night sky conditions to shoot under. The clouds break up direct lighting providing more depth to the landscape.
This location is on the southern Oregon coast. I visited while on my way home from a month long road trip to Death Valley, the Eastern Sierras, Northern California Coast ( Redwoods & inland coastal range ), and Southern Oregon in April and May of 2015.
This is one of those locations that I’ve visited multiple times, but with different weather conditions on each. That’s the beauty of landscape photography, no matter how many times you visit a certain location, the condition will be different during each visit.
One of my main goals and biggest personal challenges in landscape photography is finding unique locations and unique compositions for each post. Hopefully you enjoy this one!
