Arctic Dawn - Fairbanks, Alaska
My friend Paul & I went up to Alaska this past November to shoot the Northern Lights & do some exploring.
We found this really neat frozen forest where everything was covered in snow and ice just like you see in this photo.
You can walk around in an area like this and shoot for hours.
This specific shot was taken just before sunrise, which is around 10AM this time of year. As we were shooting the temps were so low that the camera batteries would die within 15-20 minutes.
After a long morning of shooting we retired to warm up and grab breakfast.
Enjoy & Thanks for looking,
Dave
